Aging In The Home Products
Our homes were built for us when we were in our 30’s, 40’s or 50’s. You probably raised your family here and adapted it over time. Just as when your family was younger you child proofed your home… today we need to make some adjustments to make our homes more Senior friendly. Most experts agree that in order to remain in your home for the long haul you must avoid the dangers that could lead to a fall. Staying In Your Home
It’s not hard to come to the conclusion that preparing your home for Senior living is the best option. Not only will you have the best quality of life in the home that you love but it will also save you a lot of money. Anyone who has looked into the costs associated with leaving their home realizes the costs are outrageous. We’ve seen out of pocket expenses for Assisted Living as high as $900 per week or $47,000 per year. It gets even worse for a Private Room Nursing Home which could run as much as $1600 per week or $82,000 per year. When you tack onto that moving expenses it is no wonder that more and more adults have decided to be proactive with their health and safety by remodeling their home with the future in mind.
