Jacuzzi Walk-In Tubs

Jacuzzi Walk-in Tubs

Why Jacuzzi?
All walk-in bathtubs are not created equal. We find that many claim to feature "jacuzzi jets" because the term has become synonymous with hydrotherapy, but none actually have the same technology. The history of Jacuzzi dates back to the early 1900's when a family of innovators and inventors came to America. By the 1920's, the Jacuzzi Brothers were involved with the first Monoplane propeller (moving air) and with water pump impellers (moving water) designed for irrigation. History changed in the late 1940's when one of the brothers designed a version of their pump to be used to treat his youngest son's rheumatoid arthritis. This led Jacuzzi to develop the first portable hydrotherapy pump that could turn any bathtub into a spa. So the next time you hear a company say they have a "jacuzzi" make sure it is the real deal instead of taking your chances with a no name imitator. With more than 250 patents, you can trust Jacuzzi innovation as the Original in hydro air-jet technology. After all, Jacuzzi's high pressure, low volume jets move more air and water than comparable baths' jets, with more diffused action that feels soothing and therapeutic, never harsh. With 10 whirlpool water jets and 16 micro air jets, you can sit back and relax knowing that your Jacuzzi walk-in tub is designed for comfort.

Jacuzzi is the Original in water and air jet technology and currently holds 250 patents

Jacuzzi walk-in tubs are made from a non-porous acrylic that makes them easy to clean and maintain

How is a Jacuzzi made?
Unlike most walk-in tubs on the market that utilize painted fiberglass, Jacuzzi starts with a non-porous acrylic shell. Acrylic is easy to clean and will not allow stains from hard water, mildew or soap scum. One of the dirty little secrets about walk-in tubs is that they can be difficult to maintain over time and may develop an odor because the bathwater is trapped inside the jet lines. This is why Jacuzzi designed their tub with an auto purge feature that eliminates the water from the jets at the end of the bath cycle. Additionally, Jacuzzi incorporates an Ozone Cleaning System that actually sanitizes the water as you take a bath - it is as if you were bathing in bottled water! The Jacuzzi tub is also loaded with Safety Features from the entry/exit through the entire bathing experience. It also contains anti-scald technology which will not allow the water to be heated beyond a certain pre-set temperature for your protection. Jacuzzi is proud to me Made in the USA and offer a Lifetime Guarantee on the door, frame and all components.

Additional Jacuzzi Features
Jacuzzi comes with a number of standard features that would be extra or not even available on most walk-in baths on the market. Instead of the water cooling off during your bath, Jacuzzi includes an in-line heater which maintains the water temperature no matter how long you soak. Jacuzzi has built-in Chromatherapy which utilizes LED lights to change the water color and effect your mood. Your Jacuzzi tub also allows for the use of Aromatherapy to introduce the scent of your choosing - from Honey Mango and Pina Colada to French Lavender and even Eucalyptus.
