What is Gutter Helmet?

Does Gutter Helmet work on all roofs?
Gutter Helmet is able to be installed in conjunction with many styles of roofing materials including: metal, cedar shake, composite and slate. Gutter Helmet is also successfully installed on low pitch & flat roofs as well as on a very steep pitch mansard roof. This is due to the physics behind Gutter Helmet's design which depends on the concept of molecular water adhesion or surface tension. As long as the rainwater coming off the roof flows over top of the Gutter Helmet panel, it will be directed around the "nose" and into the gutter.

What colors does Gutter Helmet come in?
Gutter Helmet is designed to blend in with the roof shingles whenever possible. In most cases it becomes an extension of the roof and is very difficult to see unless someone is specifically looking for it. Gutter Helmet aluminum panels will never rust and come in eight popular colors - plus copper. Some precautions must be made when working together with aluminum and copper because there is a galvanic reaction that occurs when two dissimilar metals come in contact with one another. Gutter Helmet can also be installed with copper gutters for a truly distinctive look. |
